An ‘enter-Tain-ing’ day!

A dry chilly start (7 degrees ) as we left Boat of Garten. Even the 10mile climb up to the Slochd summit failed to get us properly warmed up. A quick descent to Tomatin general store/ post office and a lumpy imagecappuccino! We ploughed on to Inverness through rich countryside and lunched at Dobbies garden centre. On through the town, over a long cable stay bridge onto the Black Isle. The sun then appeared, the temperature rose and we had a great into Dingwall for a good coffee and cake stop – alfresco! With 20 miles to go we hit the road again for a pacy ride to Tain. 68 miles and 3500ft climbed. A lovely day.
